Taiwan To Label South Korea “Mainland North Korea” In Petty Spite

In a diplomatic move described as “weaponised pettiness,” Taipei has announced it will officially refer to South Korea as “Southern Pyongyang” on all immigration forms.

The move follows Seoul’s decision to label Taiwan as a province of China, triggering the most passive-aggressive geopolitical tantrum since 1949.

Not stopping there, Taipei has also reclassified Denmark as “East Legoland” to ensure the Danish feel the same existential dread as a Taiwanese traveler.

“Lanjiao lah, you want to play name game ah?” said local geopolitical expert, Uncle Lim.

“If they want to call Taiwan ‘China’, then we just call South Korea ‘Kim Jong Un’s Backyard’ and see who cry first lor.”
