Singaporeans are expressing genuine bewilderment after discovering that skincare purchased from unverified TikTok sellers for the price of a curry puff might not contain premium ingredients.

One victim, who spent the morning frantically scratching her face against a concrete pillar, was reportedly stunned that her "Suu Boom" moisturiser didn't cure her chronic eczema.

"I thought I get good lobang mah, only three dollars from Shopee," the victim said while her skin audibly sizzled.

"Now my face peeling like onion, how to go paktor like that?"

A brand spokesperson noted that counterfeit versions appear to be a proprietary blend of industrial bleach and recycled long-kang water.
