Sinkies Reject 60-Storey BTO Over 5-Business-Day Lift Wait

Singapore’s government has unveiled a 60-storey BTO project, offering citizens the chance to live in the stratosphere while waiting half a decade for a lift.

Authorities claim the extreme height is "sustainable," though critics argue that by the time a resident reaches the ground floor, their toddler will have finished National Service.

To address fire safety, the state introduced "refuge floors," essentially scenic lounges for residents to contemplate their life choices while the building melts.

One mother-of-three remained unimpressed by the vertical ambition.

"Wait lift until head grow white hair, then fire come how?" she asked.

"60 floors leh, my legs not made of Ironman suit right?"

Experts insist the only barrier is "psychology," assuming that means the basic human instinct of not wanting to perish inside a cloud.
