Sinkies Proudly Waste Five Hours To Save Three Dollars

Thousands of Singaporeans have decided their personal time is worth sixty cents an hour as they swarmed a Katong petrol station.

The local road network suffered a cardiac arrest as motorists idled for half a day to avoid paying market rates.

One driver, who successfully blocked an ambulance and a bus while waiting, described the three-dollar saving as a masterstroke.

"Outside price like gold sia, my heart pain until want to cry," the worker explained while his engine consumed petrol.

"I wait here since lunch, miss my daughter wedding also nevermind, at least I don't give Esso my money!"

Sociologists suggest Singaporeans would happily walk into a furnace if the entry fee was discounted.
