Sinkies Charged $0.50 Fee To Buy Digital Lung Cancer

In a bold move to dismantle Singapore’s Smart Nation dreams, a Marsiling minimart boss is charging a $0.50 surcharge for the privilege of buying cigarettes via PayNow.

The visionary entrepreneur claimed that because his profit margins are thinner than a smoker's lung tissue, he must pass bank fees onto his gasping customers.

Despite the Association of Banks strictly forbidding such surcharges, the boss remains defiant, insisting his tobacco is the cheapest way to meet an early grave.

"Aiyah, bank charge 1% somemore, I take fifty cent only, logic what!" explained one store worker.

"If you want to die fast-fast, must pay for the convenience lah!"
