Local office worker Tan Ah Kow was reportedly "fucking triggered" after a 21-year-old motorcyclist had the audacity to perish during the peak evening rush hour on the AYE.

"I understand death is permanent, but my GrabFood order was also getting cold," Tan complained while stuck on an express bus for three hours.

Thousands of commuters slammed the deceased for his "poor time management" and "total lack of consideration" for those trying to reach Jurong West before the 8pm K-drama slot.

LTA officials confirmed that while the rider’s life ended at 6:50pm, the real tragedy was the 53-minute delay for the 97e bus service.

"Next time please die at 3am or along a minor road," added another passenger.

"Some of us actually have a life to get back to."
