Singapore Sells Overpriced Chairs To New Yorkers Living In Closets

Homegrown brand Castlery has announced its expansion into New York, finally allowing Americans to overpay for sofas they cannot fit through their narrow-ass doors.

The 3,000-square-foot Chelsea showroom aims to export the authentic Singaporean experience of being financially violated while sitting on a "minimalist" slab of reinforced plywood.

Management claims their aesthetic reflects the "shared pressures" of city living, which is corporate speak for "both populations are equally miserable and live in overpriced boxes."

"New York is basically Jurong East with more rats and fewer shopping malls," remarked retail consultant, Tan Bo Cheng.

"If these Ang Mohs want to feel like a real Sinkie, they must pay $2,400 for a chair just to sit and cry about the cost of living, KNN."
