Singapore Actress Finally Admits Being Ugly Was Not Acting
A veteran local comedian has stunned the nation by admitting her award-winning portrayal of a repulsive, unwanted gremlin was actually just a raw documentary of her daily existence.
The "Ah Lian" specialist revealed that while her co-stars required hours of prosthetic makeup to look "relatable," she simply showed up without a paper bag over her head.
Producers initially refused to sponsor the drama, fearing that the actress’s unfiltered face might cause a catastrophic dip in the national birth rate.
"Wah lau, I thought she use high-tech CGI to make herself look so buay hiao kuan, but turns out is natural beauty!" remarked a confused fan, Ah Huat.
"She say give for free nobody want—I think must top up some vouchers then people might consider lah," added a local witness.
This satire is based on a real news story.
