The Singapore Police Force is reportedly feeling insecure after a local man uploaded videos of scammers delivering a cinematic masterpiece over a phone call.

The scammers, who utilized high-fidelity walkie-talkie sound effects and a convincing "bad cop" routine, have been praised for their commitment to the craft of financial ruin.

"Wah, their script damn solid leh, got tension, got plot twist, even got PID mention," said one resident who watched the 33-minute epic while ignoring his boss.

Experts suggest the scammers’ use of a “Police Intelligence Department” alias was actually more believable than most actual government press releases.

Mediacorp has since reached out to the overseas syndicate to see if they can produce a 20-episode crime series that Singaporeans will actually watch.

Meanwhile, the man who recorded the call has been hailed as a national hero for having absolutely nothing better to do with his life.

This satire is based on a real news story.
