SINGAPORE — Local pet owners are reeling after DNA results revealed their premium $4,000 “mini goldendoodles” have as much Golden Retriever ancestry as a packet of frozen fish fingers.

The pet shop, caught selling cockapoos disguised as designer status symbols, has graciously offered a full refund on the condition that owners return their “defective” family members to be processed as refurbished inventory.
