Government Replaces Underperforming Citizens With Highly Productive Stray Chickens

The Ministry of National Development has announced a new initiative to replace the nation's least productive humans with free-roaming junglefowl.

Officials noted that while the average Singaporean spends eight hours a day complaining on Reddit, these chickens are busy procreating and looking delicious.

"The chickens have already surpassed our national fertility targets without needing a single government grant," a spokesperson remarked while eyeing a fat hen in Orchard.

Unlike the local workforce, these birds wake up at 5 AM without hitting snooze or requesting a Work-From-Home day.

Plans are underway to phase out low-value residents in Choa Chu Kang first, replacing them with roosters that actually have a better ROI.

"Honestly, the chickens are just better at being Singaporean than you are," the statement concluded.
