A devastating fire at a Bugis coffee shop has left the nation in mourning, specifically over the three dollars and fifty cents worth of abandoned mixed rice left to char.

While the SCDF fought the blaze at Block 269B Queen Street, local residents were seen weeping—not for the victims, but for the succulent braised pork belly left behind in the smoke.
